At any given time, iCog Labs staff are involved with a number of different projects, both commercial projects for international customers and R&D projects in collaboration with the OpenCog Foundation. Some of our current projects involve:
- Constructing mobile robots and enabling them with SLAM mapping, navigation ability and vision processing
- Deep learning algorithms for vision processing and object recognition
- Use of machine learning algorithms to predict trends in global consumption of entertainment media
- Creation of automated systems to understand the English language, via mapping English sentences into sets of logical relations that can be analyzed by probabilistic reasoning systems
- Integrating hand-built knowledge sources like ConceptNet and Freebase with knowledge acquired via statistical language processing, within a common graph-based knowledge store
